OWNER/FOUNDER & SENIOR TRAINER
Tim is the founder of The Sporting Club and has over 18 years experience working as a personal trainer, which came on the back of performing a number of sports in his native Australia at a high competitive level. These included cricket, basketball and Australian rules football.
Since entering the fitness industry, Tim has had a thirst for learning from the best, and has honed his training skills and knowledge under the tutelage of world leading experts. He is also exclusively in charge on the Aussie rock and 80’s playlists.
PERSONAL TRAINER & YOGA INSTRUCTOR
Asha joined the team in 2015 after a 4 year stint working at some of the most exclusive PT studios in Hong Kong. A truly multi faceted member of the team, she looks after PT clients, Semi-Private and Yoga classes.
Asha also exudes positivity and calmness which makes her an amazing asset to the team. Asha’s soft Northern accent is definitely comforting for clients, until she gets them on the Pendulum Squat and Prowler Push!
PERSONAL TRAINER & REFORMER PILATES INSTRUCTOR
Jenny has more than 10 years experience as a Personal Trainer and Pilates Instructor. Initially joining the team to run a number of our Semi-Private classes, she is now looking after a host of Personal Training clients and is in charge of the TSC Reformer Pilates programme.
Jenny has travelled the world over since leaving her native Ireland, and has furthered her experience afar in Scotland, Australia and Hong Kong.
Her thirst for learning about all aspects of strength and conditioning started at a young age and never one to stand still, Jenny has recently completed an MSc in Applied Positive Psychology and Coaching.
As for many Personal Trainers, Tel’s enthusiasm for his own training led to his career transition in 2014 and he has literally been a huge member of the team since joining in early 2021.
Tel’s (mildly) booming voice certainly fills the gym with positive energy, and he has a great knack of delivering outstanding programmes with a range of different clients.
In his spare time he still likes to compete in various Strongman related events.
Personal Trainer and Boxing Coach
Conor was involved in a host of competitive sports in his youth including athletics, football and boxing, the latter of which has become a core part of his training expertise and has Conor in charge of our BoxFit programming.
Conor has an intense passion for all things health and fitness, and now with over 10 years experience he is able to transfer his extensive knowledge to all of his clients.
Fun fact: Being a local boy, Conor also met Tim when he started his gym training journey back as a teenager.
Marta began practising yoga as a way to give her mind and body some space from her hectic job.
Her classes are open to students of all abilities.
